AI automation

Our AI automatically analyzes radiology images to detect commonly-overlooked findings, such as pulmonary nodules and liver lesions, comparing image data with report text, then any discrepancies are automatically flagged.

Automated QA without disrupting the radiology workflow

IMedis Duali-Q works independently of the radiology workflow and only produces notifications for missed findings for QA purposes, reducing ‘alert fatigue’ and protecting the smooth running of the radiology department.

Radiology report created

The radiologist examines the images and prepares their report. The report is sent to the requesting physician.

Duali-Q AI assessment

Duali-Q automatically analyzes the images for commonly overlooked findings. It then compares the findings with those noted in the report to uncover errors of omission.

Team alerted

Only if Duali-Q finds a significant discrepancy between findings in the images and the information given in the report, the case is flagged within the Duali-Q platform for peer-review and peer-learning.

Life saving indications

Duali-Q screens for commonly overlooked indications that can have life-altering consequences if missed. For example, pulmonary nodules are common incidental findings, present in 8% to 51% of chest computed tomography (CT) scans. They are an early sign of lung cancer, with a prevalence of malignancy of 1.3% to 28% of cases with nodules between 6 and 10 mm in size. Failure to report these commonly overlooked findings prevents patients from receiving vital follow-up and can cost lives.
